My firm is dedicated to injured people and death cases.
Many people know that taking responsibility for causing injury or death to an individual is very costly; for that reason, many will simply refuse to admit it was their fault. Then, even if they do admit it was their fault, they refuse to pay what a person or family deserves. My name is John Scott Helwig, and I love to fight for what is right. About Scott
I've been fighting for injured victims and families of lost loved ones for over 21 years. You won't see me doing mass marketing (TV, billboards, etc.) because I don't run my office like a factory. Most cases that I take on come from referrals of previous clients and other lawyers who need a hand. I'm highly selective, and refuse to file a frivolous lawsuit. If I take on your case, that means I believe in it, and - YES - I take your personal injury personally!

My fees are contingent only upon recovery of your money. That means: If there is no recovery, you owe me zero - even if I've spent thousands on your case.

Personal Attention
My office is located near downtown Austin, just off MoPac at the Bee Caves Rd. exit. However, I regularly take cases ranging from Kerrville to Dallas to Houston. The technology in which my firm has invested allows my clients to forego costly and time-consuming in-person meetings. Even though zoom calls are great, I am always willing to travel to meet with a client in-person. My clients are always in close touch with me and their case 24 hours a day 7 days a week by texting me and/or logging into their case via Google Drive. At any time they want, my clients are free to peruse their file, text me, and make copies of documents they may need - ALL AT NO EXTRA CHARGE.
